'Subprime' is 2007 Word of the Year

You've probably heard of the Time Magazine Person of the Year, but did you know that the American Dialect Society selects a word of the year each January?

This year, in response to the mortgage crisis, the group decided that "subprime" would win this year's prize, beating out "Facebook", "green", "Googleganger" and "waterboarding".

By the way, the "Googleganger" is a "person with your name who shows up when you Google yourself".
