New Online Financial Website - Mint.com
I recently found a new financial website that helps people keep track of their spending by automatically pulling transactions from their online bank and credit card accounts. The website is Mint.com.
One of the attractive features of the website is that with a few mouse clicks, it is easy to import information from your accounts and categorize expenses.
On the downside, the site is relatively new, so not all banks/financial institutions are currently supported. Another pitfall is that transactions cannot be manually added or imported from other sources.
Overall, the site has some potential, but I was unable to use the site since my bank was not on the list of enabled institutions. However, if you only have a few accounts and bank only with major corporations, then I recommend that you compare the site with other money management tools, such as Mvelopes.com, Quicken and Microsoft Money.
