ATM in the Church Lobby?
According to a
recent Time Magazine article, use of electronic giving kiosks, akin to an ATM
machine, is now growing rapidly in U.S. churches. In a Dallas Morning News
Survey of over 200 local churches, over 55% reported using these devices.
The main arguments for these devices are that 1) the IRS now requires increased
documentation for all contributions and 2) giving increases when these machines
are utilized.
Has your church
implemented these devices? Has your church seen an increase in
giving?
