My kids were watching the VeggieTales "Madame Blueberry" episode on NBC this morning, and it reminded me of the one of the fundamental keys to good stewardship - - being thankful of the many things God has done and continues to do for us. 

 

"The Thankfulness Song" sung throughout the episode is a perfect example of thankfulness and contentment.  For those of you unfamiliar with the lyrics, here is a sample :

 

"I thank God for this day,
For the sun in the sky,
For my mom and my dad,
For my piece of apple pie!
For our home on the ground
For His love that's all around
That's why I say thanks everyday!

Because a thankful heart is a happy heart!
I'm glad for what I have,
